Yesterday, Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines improved to 7-0 on the season with a massive 52-7 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers at the Big House in Ann Arbor. After the game, the 9th-year head coach clued us in on a new motto that he has adopted — something that he says Katie Harbaugh came up with.

“As I said earlier, these guys play for each other,” Jim Harbaugh said. “There’s so many third-year and above — third, fourth, and fifth-year players that are on the team, veteran team, and all the new players, the one-year players, the guys who’ve transferred in, they’ve picked up on that vibe, they love it. And so have our young players. I mean, they see it. Yeah, that’s the vibe I pick up that guys are playing for each other and they prepare for each other, they fight for each other, they go out there and win for each other.

“They work together, they win together — Katie Harbaugh came up with that quote. She was looking at my quote board and she said ‘Work together win together.’ So that’s my new favorite quote on my quote board.”

Michigan football has certainly been winning together as this week’s win over Indiana keeps the undefeated season alive. Their next matchup will be this Saturday when they take on the Michigan State Spartans at East Lansing.
