Michigan Football Continues To Roast Penn State After Win

After last weekend’s win, Michigan football is still trolling the Penn State Nittany Lions.

With sign-gate taking the national sports news cycle by storm over the past month or so, Michigan football had its fair share of getting roasted on social media leading up to last weekend’s bout at No. 10 Penn State. In fact, even some Nittany Lions — such as PSU defensive coordinator Manny Diaz — were trolling Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines ahead of the game. That said, even without Harbaugh on the sideline, Sherrone Moore and JJ McCarthy led Michigan to a nine-point win at Beaver Stadium, and the counter-trolling began for the Maize and Blue.

Michigan football downs Penn State on the road, improves to 10-0

We have talked about quite a few trolls for Michigan football against Penn State following the Wolverines’ 24-15 win on Saturday. That said, it has been brought to our attention that we missed a few notable ones — namely, from quarterback JJ McCarthy and interim head coach Sherrone Moore.

Sherrone Moore trolls Nittany Lions during game-sealing touchdown from Blake Corum

Firstly, Sherrone Moore trolled Penn State with a “Manny Diaz” celebration as Blake Corum punched in the game-sealing touchdown, which, at the time, gave the Wolverines a 24-9 lead in the fourth quarter.

Earlier in the week, Diaz trolled Michigan’s alleged sign-stealing in a pre-game hype video that was posted on Penn State’s socials. Below are shots of Moore hitting Diaz’s troll as a celebration.

JJ McCarthy Instagram post is hilarious

In addition to Sherrone Moore hitting a great celebration on the Nittany Lions, JJ McCarthy also had quite a few trolls for the Blue and White following his third-straight win (second-straight in Happy Valley) over Penn State. In his latest Instagram post (below), McCarthy hilariously tagged last weekend’s location as “Unhappy Valley.”

The trolling of Penn State will likely stop now, seeing as Michigan football is onto its next opponent this week. By week’s end, Jim Harbaugh *may* be back to coaching on game days and will be leading his Wolverines against the 6-4 Maryland Terrapins in College Park, MD. If Michigan wins, it will improve the team’s season record to 11-0 heading into the Ohio State game, as well as give the program its 1,000th all-time win — a feat that no other team is close to at the moment.
