ANN ARBOR, MI — On Tuesday, the Michigan Wolverines landed some more massive news for their 2024 recruiting class. Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider put in a crystal ball for Michigan football recruiting to secure a commitment from Brian Robinson, an edge rusher in the 2024 class. Robinson happens to be one of the most sought-after players in the 2024 class, and is ranked by 247 as a top-3 player in Ohio.
Michigan football recruiting is trending for four-star edge rusher Brian Robinson
Brian Robinson is a 6-5, 255-pound edge rusher from Fitch High School in Youngstown, OH. 247 Sports rates Robinson as a four-star prospect, and ranks him as the No. 110 player in the 2024 class, the No. 10 2024 edge rusher, and the No. 3 player in the state of Ohio. Robinson’s supreme athletic ability and massive frame make him one of the top targets for most of the nation’s best programs.
Thus far, Brian Robinson has three crystal balls — all three are in favor of Michigan football recruiting. 247 Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong put in his crystal ball back in September of 2022, and the Wolverines have since landed two more. Most recently, Michigan insider Sam Webb put in his prediction, and once again, the experts are saying Robinson will end up in the Winged Helmet.
Only time will tell at this point as many other major programs — such as Kentucky and Penn State — are targeting Robinson. Still, so far so good for Michigan football recruiting on the trail of top-3 Ohio player Brian Robinson.
