On Friday afternoon, the Wolverines’ recruiting class got much better. Once again, Jim Harbaugh has added to his already stellar 2024 recruiting class — this afternoon, the Michigan football 2024 recruiting class added four-star offensive lineman Andrew Sprague of Kansas City, MO. The announcement came in the early afternoon, and has Michigan fans and national media clamoring about the Wolverines’ newest recruiting class.

Michigan football 2024 recruiting class adds four-star offensive lineman

Andrew Sprague was one of the Wolverines’ top 2024 recruits, and is one of the nation’s best offensive tackle prospects. As a recruit heading into his senior season of high school football at Rockhurst High School, Sprague has shinned and collected a long list of offers. According to 247 Sports, Sprague is a four-star lineman recruit and is ranked as the No. 133 player in the country, the No. 12 offensive tackle, and the No. 4 player in the state of Missouri.

Sprague is another key piece of the puzzle for the Michigan Wolverines’ program, as he is the 11th commit in the 2024 recruiting class — of Michigan’s 11 hard commits to this point, nine of them are rated as four-star recruits or better by 247 Sports. Additionally, Sprague’s commitment shoots the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class up to No. 2 nationally in the 247 Sports team rankings.

Andrew Sprague is the third offensive lineman in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class — he is a key piece to the puzzle, and could be one of the key members of a future Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line.
