Michigan Football Legends React To Sherrone Moore Promotion

Yesterday, the University of Michigan made it official that Sherrone Moore would be the next head coach of Michigan football. After going 4-0 as acting head coach during the 2023 season, which included wins over Penn State and Ohio State, the choice seemed like a no-brainer. After the announcement was made, social media was buzzing over Moore’s promotion from offensive coordinator to head coach. Here’s what a few Michigan football legends had to say about the promotion.

Former Michigan football players buzzing over Sherrone Moore head coach promotion

Sherrone Moore was an integral part of last year’s historic 15-0 season which ended in a national championship. He served as offensive line coach and offensive coordinator while handling playcalling duties on offense. Team 144 was rightfully happy to see the news of their former offensive coordinator’s promotion.
