The Wolverines got busy on the 2024 recruiting trail last month, hauling in some top-ranked recruits and entering the month of April with a top 3 recruiting class nationally. For Michigan football, it’s business as usual in Ann Arbor right now; the Wolverines are trending in a great direction with the 2024 recruiting class at the moment, and were named the winners of March recruiting by On3.
Michigan football named the winners of March recruiting, ranked in top 5 by On3
The Michigan football program is coming off of two-straight Big Ten titles, College Football Playoff appearances, wins over Ohio State, and more. On top of that, Jim Harbaugh’s squad has a 25-3 overall record (19-1 Big Ten) over their past 28 games, and have been as close as a touchdown away from appearing in the program’s first-ever national championship game.
Heading into a new season this fall, Michigan looks to have its best roster yet under Jim Harbaugh, and could make a massive push to break its glass ceiling of playoff losses. With all of this great news circulating around the program, it comes as no surprise that some of the nation’s top talent cannot stay away from Ann Arbor, and that the Michigan football program is thriving like never before in the 2024 recruiting class right now — after an incredible performance last month, Michigan was named the winners of March recruiting.
Wolverines boast a top 5 class according to On3, 247
Depending on what network you use for your recruiting rankings, Michigan football either has a top 3 or top 5 class nationally right now. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Michigan’s class ranks 5th in the nation and 2nd in the Big Ten conference; according to 247 Sports, Michigan’s class ranks 3rd in the nation and 1st in the Big Ten.
The Wolverines’ most recent commit came as little surprise for die-hard Michigan fans — at the end of last month, Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 recruiting class landed its crown jewel: five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis. On top of Davis, Michigan football pulled a number of other top-ranked prospects, including Jordan Marshall, one of the highest-ranked recruits in the Buckeye state and a player that Ohio State was pursuing heavily.
If Michigan con continue its momentum over the next few months, there is a good chance that this could be one of the best Michigan football recruiting classes of all-time; perhaps even one that could kickstart a Wolverine dynasty like we have not seen in centuries.
There are a number of massive visits still coming up for Michigan throughout the spring and summer, and Harbaugh will have plenty of chances to pull or steal some of the best players in the class.
If you look back at all that Michigan accomplished over the last 30 days or so, there is no wonder why the Wolverines were named the winners of March recruiting.
