Michigan football: new 2024 NFL Draft rankings for Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards

Michigan football currently boasts the No. 1 running back room in America, led by rising senior Blake Corum and rising junior Donovan Edwards. Both Corum and Edwards proved to be vital assets for the Maize and Blue in 2022, contributing to an impressive 13-1 overall record, a Big Ten title, and more. After the upcoming season, both of these exceptional ball carriers will be eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft and are expected to be highly sought-after offensive targets.

2 Michigan football running backs ranked among top 70 in NFL Draft preview

In a recently released 2024 NFL mock draft, Michigan football running backs Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards are both listed among the top 75 prospects in the upcoming draft class. Considering Corum’s senior status, it is almost certain that he will declare for the NFL Draft after the 2023 season. Although Donovan Edwards is a junior, his exceptional talent and physical attributes make it highly likely that he will also choose to leave.

According to Draft Countdown’s 2024 NFL Draft preview, Donovan Edwards ranks at No. 63 (3rd Round) among prospects nationally and is among the top Wolverines in the upcoming class. Following closely behind is Blake Corum at No. 66 (3rd Round).

This fall, both Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum will lead the way for the Maize and Blue as they strive for a national championship for the first time since 1997. Both players are considered Heisman Trophy candidates heading into the year and are regarded as two of the premier offensive skill players in all of college football today.
