Michigan football recruiting could add new offensive line commit this evening: Jake Guarnera
Jake Guarnera, a highly sought-after prospect for the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, has captured the attention of elite college programs due to his impressive physical attributes and exceptional skills. Despite being rated as a three-star offensive lineman by the 247 Sports Composite, Guarnera has received numerous offers from esteemed schools such as Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, Penn State, and several others.
Presently, Guarnera is ranked as the No. 456 recruit in the 2024 class, the No. 28 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 69 prospect in Florida. While he currently falls just of being classified as a composite four-star player, many expect him to receive a fourth star when the recruiting class is re-evaluated.
Guarnera is reportedly leaning towards the Michigan Wolverines, with several crystal ball predictions and strong odds on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine in their favor. Nonetheless, five teams, including Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan football program, are still in the running for his commitment: NC State, Penn State, Rutgers, and Florida. Guarnera is scheduled to announce his decision tonight at 5:00 PM.
2024 recruiting class is in good hands
The 2024 Michigan football recruiting class has earned the No. 1 national ranking, having recently overtaken rival Ohio State and SEC juggernaut Georgia earlier this week. With the potential addition of Jake Guarnera, a highly-touted offensive line prospect, the Wolverines could solidify their status as one of Jim Harbaugh’s most accomplished classes on paper. Guarnera’s commitment would bring the total number of commits to 15, with four of them rated as composite three-star, while the remaining 11 are four-star and five-star recruits.
