Michigan Football Enters The Combine With Most Invites In College Football History

The NFL combine is now officially underway and for the next four days, numerous Wolverines will be showcasing their talents to NFL scouts ahead of this year’s draft. Following an undefeated national championship season, Michigan football set an all time record for players invited to the combine, with 18 Wolverines getting the invite.

Michigan Football Sets Combine Invite Record With 18 Players

In 2023, Michigan football had stars playing at every position on the field. In the preseason, Jim Harbaugh theorized that this Michigan team had the chance to break the NFL draft record for a single school, which was set by Georgia in 2022 when 15 Bulldogs were selected.

With 18 Wolverines invited to compete in Indianapolis, Michigan football has now broken the NFL combine invite record. The previous record was held by the 2020 national champion LSU team, which had 16 players invited to the combine.

The NFL combine is now underway and will run until March 3. The seven-round NFL Draft will be this April 25-27 in Detroit Michigan.
