The University of Michigan has seen a handful of transfers over the past week or so, immediately following the team’s National Championship run. One such Michigan football transfer is wide receiver Darrius Clemons, a sophomore, who announced today that he will be heading to a PAC-12 school next fall at Oregon State.

The PAC-12 of old is all but gone, and it’s largely the Big Ten’s fault, seeing as the conference picked the PAC dry when it comes to its top revenue generators. With Washington, USC, UCLA, and Oregon all leaving in 2024, Oregon State and others will be in a weird spot next season as they look to rebuild a once-great conference.

Luckily for the Oregon State Beavers, they will have the help of a former Michigan football wideout, Darrius Clemons, who made his intent to transfer official on Monday.

Clemons was not a major piece for Michigan football, though many felt that he had the potential to develop into something special for the Wolverines down the road. During Michigan’s 15-0 season in 2023-24, Clemons caught three passes for 33 yards including an impressive 19-yard grab against Nebraska during the Wolverines’ 45-7 win in Lincoln, NE.
