We are just a few days into fall camp now, and the 2023 Michigan football coaching staff continues to grow. According to the Wolverines’ athletic website, Jim Harbaugh and his program have now hired a new defensive analyst — Matt Adolph, who is currently listed as one of the team’s “Administrative Specialists.”
2023 Michigan football coaching staff adds a new face
According to The Wolverine, Matt Adolph is a native of Columbus, OH, and is the newest addition to the 2023 Michigan football coaching staff. Jim Harbaugh has assembled a competitive staff and roster, which bodes well for the Wolverines as they pursue yet another Big Ten title, College Football Playoff berth, and more this fall.
On top of his college playing days at the University of Kentucky, Adolph has some solid coaching experience under his belt. His most recent roles include stops at Morehead State and Santa Barbara City College, among others. Notably, he has also been part of the coaching staff for the Michigan State Spartans and the San Francisco 49ers; during the 2014 season in San Francisco, Adolph gained valuable experience working under Jim Harbaugh.
The Michigan football coaching staff continues to grow and improve with fall camp underway, and so far, it appears that all is well for Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines as the 2023 season approaches quickly.
