It is well-documented that Jim Harbaugh hit the transfer portal as hard as ever during the 2023 offseason. However, what is not well-known just yet is how different some of these new additions are looking ahead of their first season in Ann Arbor. For Michigan football transfer lineman Myles Hinton, a firmer five-star recruit and offensive tackle for Stanford, he is up 20 pounds since pledging his commitment to the Wolverines months ago.

Michigan football transfer lineman, Myles Hinton, beefs way up ahead of year one in the Maize and Blue

Michigan football transfer lineman Myles Hinton is currently competing for a starting spot at offensive tackle ahead of his first season in the Maize and Blue. Fall camp started yesterday, and with tons of talent and depth along the offensive line, the Wolverines may very well be 10-deep at OL this fall.

That said, former five-star recruit Myles Hinton, the younger brother of ex-Wolverine Chris Hinton (defensive lineman), is looking bigger and better than ever and could have what it takes to block for one of the country’s best offenses.

When Myles Hinton first committed to Michigan football via the transfer portal, he was listed at 320 pounds. Now, the former Stanford tackle is up to 340 pounds, according to Michigan’s newly updated roster page.

With fall camp underway, keep an eye on senior offensive lineman Myles Hinton, who is currently listed at a whopping 6-foot-6, 340 pounds — he could earn a starting role or, at the very least, should get some quality reps for the Maize and Blue throughout the fast-approaching 2023 college football season. Needless to say, this new transfer portal addition is looking like a monster for the Wolverines right now, which should have fans thrilled.
