Today, the Maize and Blue landed yet another four-star commitment for their 2024 recruiting class. I’Marion Stewart, the newest Michigan football commit, announced his pledge to Jim Harbaugh’s program at 3:00 PM (EST) on Friday, marking the Wolverines’ 20th commitment in the class. Shortly after his announcement, new quotes emerged via Chad Simmons of ON3 that should have Maize and Blue fans excited about the national title-winning ambition and drive of this class.

New Michigan football commit has national championship aspirations for the Maize and Blue

The 2024 recruiting class is starting to truly take shape for Michigan football. The Wolverines currently have the nation’s No. 2 ranked class, trailing only the Georgia Bulldogs, who have won two-straight national title games.

Today, with the commitment of four-star wideout I’Marion Stewart, the Maize and Blue added a major weapon for five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who is currently in LA competing in the Elite 11 finals. For the Wolverines, Stewart is a valuable offensive piece to the puzzle, and once again, Michigan football has added a hungry rising star.

“[Michigan football] can definitely win a lot of games, make it to the championship and hopefully win a national title,” said new Michigan football commit I’Marion Stewart following his commitment on Friday. “They already have a winning history, so I think it’s going to be nothing but good games and a lot of wins, especially because of the amount of people they have coming in and the talent they have coming in in the ’24 class.”

Indeed, the future of Michigan football appears promising as the Maize and Blue strive for a national title through the 2024 class and beyond.
