Ranking update for five-star Michigan football quarterback

This summer has been a big one for the Wolverines on the recruiting trail as the Maize and Blue currently boast the nation’s 4th-ranked 2024 recruiting class. Over the past few weeks, all of the major recruiting services have tweaked their 2024 recruiting rankings, with five-star Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis seeing some notable movement. Here is where he stands heading into his final season of high school football.

Five-star Michigan football quarterback sees a lot of movement in new rankings

When Jadyn Davis committed to Michigan football back in March, he was a composite five-star and was ranked among the nation’s best according to all outlets aside from ON3. Since then, Davis has fallen across the board, becoming a four-star quarterback in all rankings aside from Rivals.

Jadyn Davis had an up-and-down weekend at the Elite 11, finishing among the top 11 yet not impressing the way many thought he would. While all outlets still recognize him as a top quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, his previous status as a five-star is gone, and he will be looking to win it back this fall.

ON3

According to the ON3 rankings, Jadyn Davis is a four-star Michigan football quarterback commit. He ranks as the No. 187 player nationally, the No. 13 quarterback in his class, and is the No. 5 recruit in the state of North Carolina.

247 Sports

According to the 247 Sports rankings, Jadyn Davis has fallen to four-star status and ranks as the No. 76 player in his class, the No. 7 quarterback in the nation, and the No. 1 player in North Carolina.

ESPN

Per ESPN, Jadyn Davis is a four-star target, ranking as the No. 113 player nationally, the No. 3 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, and the No. 4 player in his state.

Rivals

Rivals remains high on Jadyn Davis, being the last service to have him pinned as a five-star Michigan football quarterback recruit. He is ranked as the No. 20 player nationwide, the No. 3 quarterback in his class, and the top player in North Carolina.
