This week, Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis was pinned as a top 10 quarterback in all of high school football. Davis, who committed to Michigan as a five-star recruit back in March, has since fallen to four-star status in the composite rankings. Still, according to one of the biggest high school football sites in the nation (MaxPreps), he is among the country’s elite quarterback recruits, further establishing Jim Harbaugh’s prowess on the recruiting trail.

Michigan football quarterback commit ranked among top 10 nationally

All Michigan football fans know of Jadyn Davis by now, just as they knew about JJ McCarthy after he committed to the Maize and Blue and headlined the Wolverines’ 2021 class. Davis is currently the talk of the town in Ann Arbor. When JJ leaves the program for the 2024 or 2025 NFL Draft, Jadyn Davis will be right there to take over the impressive Michigan football offense.

According to MaxPreps’ 2023 high school football season preview, Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis is ranked among the top 10 QBs in the sport, coming in at No. 8 nationally. He joins fellow elite Wolverine commit Jordan Marshall, who is one of the top recruits in the state of Ohio, among MaxPreps’ top players in the nation right now.

According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Jadyn Davis is a four-star quarterback recruit, ranking as the No. 60 player in the 2024 class, the No. 6 quarterback in the nation, and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.
