Yesterday, Jim Harbaugh took to the podium and addressed the media for the first time since Big Ten Media Day in late July. There, the 9th-year head coach gave a few key Michigan Wolverines football fall camp injury updates, including a status update for newly converted cornerback Amorion Walker and more.

In a sport like football, injuries are bound to happen. Yesterday, for the first time since the start of Michigan Wolverines football fall camp, Jim Harbaugh spoke with the media — there, he outlined a few injury updates. First, he mentioned that newly converted cornerback Amorion Walker — one of the most anticipated players on this year’s roster — is a bit banged up. Still, he expects to have Walker back on the field within a week or so.
“A little bit (banged up),” Harbaugh explained. “He’s working through something right now, but I expect to have him back in four to five days.”
Additionally, Michigan football may be without a sophomore wide receiver for a while — Logan Forbes is awaiting MRI results right now, but it sounds like he may end up missing some considerable time this year.
“Yeah, we will have to see what with Logan Forbes,” Harbaugh explained. “(Forbes) was having such a great camp, tremendous offseason. Waiting on an MRI this morning. But hoping for the best, we’ll plan for the worst, but he’s been — just it’s one of those gut-wrenching things. So we’ll find out. Knowing him, he’ll do what all the other guys do. They just come back bigger, stronger, faster.”
Halfway through Michigan Wolverines football fall camp, that’s all when it comes to injury updates from Jim Harbaugh.
