ESPN recently released its list of “College Football’s True Freshmen To Know In 2024,” and an up-and-coming Wolverine made the cut. Per ESPN, Michigan football freshman Jordan Marshall — Michigan’s top commit in the 2024 class — is a name to know for fans around the country.

As a recruit, Jordan Marshall held a four-star 247 Sports Composite rating and was ranked the No. 6 running back in the 2024 class. As a junior in high school, Marshall ran for 1,961 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Following his senior season, Marshall won the Ohio Mr. Football Award which is given annually to the best high school player in the state. Marshall ran for 1,550 yards his senior season and scored 21 total touchdowns.

With Donovan Edwards, Kalel Mullings, Benjamin Hall, and Cole Cabana all returning next year, Marshall will join a five-way fight for playing time in a talented running back room.
