This week, Jadyn Davis, a five-star Michigan football quarterback, will be competing in the Elite 11 finals alongside some of the nation’s best players. Earlier this week, Davis lost his composite five-star status due to dropping in the new rankings from ON3 and Rivals. However, in interviews leading up to the skills showcase, Davis spoke highly of the Maize and Blue fans and the program’s culture.

Jadyn Davis is the crown jewel of Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 recruiting class. The five-star quarterback commit is a significant addition for the Wolverines, as they aim to extend their national title window through the 2024 class and beyond.

Recently, when interviewed by ON3 ahead of the Elite 11 finals in Los Angelas, CA, Jadyn Davis couldn’t say enough about his new program.

“It’s a great deal of pride an honor and I’m extremely grateful for the whole Michigan fan base,” Davis said. “They’ve shown me nothing but love. If anybody says anything at me, they attack them. They’ve shown me love. I’m representing them and the whole Michigan program and that brand when I’m out there. I do that each and every day…I’m trying to show Michigan in the most positive light possible and be victorious as well.”

Jadyn Davis will be competing this weekend alongside notable players such as CJ Carr (Notre Dame), Air Noland (Ohio State), Ethan Grunkemeyer (Penn State), and many others. Although he lost his composite five-star status earlier this week, Jadyn Davis still has ample time to recover lost ground before National Signing Day next year. A remarkable performance in LA this week could potentially propel him back to the top position.
