ANN ARBOR — Yesterday, the Michigan Wolverines football team landed back home in MI and made their way back to Schembechler Hall after winning the National Championship on Monday. When the team got back, a massive pack of Michigan football fans, which had been invited by the school, was there to greet them, and they did. In fact, when it was time for JJ McCarthy to say a few words, he was greeted with “one more year” chants, which Sherrone Moore seemed to agree with wholeheartedly.

JJ McCarthy is now 27-1 as Michigan’s starter with three Big Ten titles, three CFP berths, a Rose Bowl win, and a National Championship to his name. Heading into a crucial offseason for the Maize and Blue, McCarthy is about to have a big decision to make in regard to the NFL, but it’s clear what Michigan football fans want the junior signal-caller to do right now.

When Jim Harbaugh handed the mic off to JJ McCarthy on Tuesday evening outside of Schembechler Hall, fans erupted with “one more year!” chants. In fact, Sherrone Moore was waving them along as McCarthy was all smiles. (video below)

No one knows what JJ McCarthy will do between now and April’s NFL Draft; in fact, I doubt even McCarthy knows where he will wind up all said and done. That said, fans want him back in Ann Arbor next fall, especially after winning the National Championship this year.
