We have emphasized before, and it remains indisputable, that the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class stands out as elite. Less than a week into June, Jim Harbaugh and his team have already secured commitments from 17 highly talented players, including some of the nation’s top recruits like Jadyn Davis. Furthermore, the Wolverines are gaining momentum in their pursuit of a few remaining high-priority prospects, notably Jeremiah Beasley, a four-star in-state target. Beasley is strongly favored to pledge his commitment to the Maize and Blue this summer.

Michigan football trending for major in-state target

The potential addition of Jeremiah Beasley, a prominent linebacker in the 2024 class, would have a significant impact on Jesse Minter and the Wolverine defense. Although Beasley initially leaned towards Michigan State, recent months have seen the Green and White lose their advantage. Presently, it appears that Harbaugh and his staff are on the verge of securing Beasley’s commitment, with the odds in favor of the Maize and Blue.

According to the ON3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Jeremiah Beasley is projected to have a nearly 96% chance of committing to Michigan football. In fact, recent reports suggest that Beasley already has a strong inclination towards his destination but intends to enjoy the recruiting process and visit a few other schools before making his final decision. These reports indicate that the Wolverines have successfully checked off every box except for securing Beasley’s commitment, leaving them optimistic about his impending pledge.

Just a matter of time for Jeremiah Beasley?

Jeremiah Beasley is scheduled to visit Michigan State next weekend, followed by a return trip to Ann Arbor on the 16th, and then a visit to Missouri on the 23rd. If Harbaugh handles the situation adeptly, there is a possibility that Beasley could commit to Michigan early. Nonetheless, the Wolverines are eagerly anticipating his inclusion in their esteemed 2024 class and hope he will become a key contributor on the defensive side in the coming seasons.

According to the Industry Rankings, Beasley is a four-star linebacker hailing from Belleville, MI. He holds the impressive rankings of being the nation’s 272nd recruit, the 28th linebacker in his class, and the 6th overall prospect in the state of Michigan. His potential addition would be a substantial boost to Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class and is a name closely monitored by all Maize and Blue fans.
