The Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class is coming together quite nicely. With 5-star quarterback Jadyn Davis already committed and a top-3 recruiting class thus far, the Michigan football team has a bright future. Now, Jadyn Davis — the crown jewel of the class — is looking to bring 4-star wide receiver Jordan Shipp from Providence Day High School with him to Ann Arbor.

Jordan Shipp is one of the top-ranked wideouts in the nation; according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Shipp is a four-star wide receiver and is ranked as the No. 409 recruit nationally, the No. 58 wide receiver in the class, and the No. 13 player in the state of North Carolina. Shipp has become a major target for the Wolverines as he is a teammate of Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis at Providence Day High School.

Shipp has visited Ann Arbor three times thus far, though, seeing as his most recent trip to see Jim Harbaugh & Co. was last October, expect the Wolverines to make a push for most visitation throughout the summer and next fall. Jordan Shipp has a college-ready 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame and prebuilt chemistry with the Wolverines’ 5-star QB commit already, making him an ideal target for the Michigan football 2024 recruiting class. The Wolverines already have a top-3 class with 12 hard commits thus far; however, Michigan is still without a wide receiver commit in the 2024 recruiting class, making Shipp’s recruitment much more valuable for the program’s success.

With Jadyn Davis and the Wolverine coaching staff in pursuit, Michigan football should be in solid shape with Shipp’s recruitment heading into the summer.
