RECRUITING — When it comes to some of the nation’s top high school football recruits, trying to out-recruit some of the country’s biggest football programs can be tough. Still, Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan football team have been doing well when it comes to four-star Brady Prieskorn — a major tight end prospect and No. 1 2024 player in MI. The Wolverines currently have a solid lead on Penn State and Michigan State — two other Big Ten schools that made his top-8 earlier this week.
Michigan football leads in the race for the No. 1 2024 player in MI
Brady Prieskorn, a four-star tight end from Rochester, is ranked as the No. 74 player in the nation, the No. 4 tight end, and the No. 1 2024 player in MI by On3. Additionally, according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Michigan football currently leads in the race for his recruitment with an astounding 92.1% chance of landing him.
Earlier this week, Prieskorn announced his top-8 remaining schools; this list includes: the Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions, Michigan State Spartans, Alabama Crimson Tide, the Miami Hurricanes, the Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, and Tennessee Volunteers. Of these schools, only three really seem to have a shot: Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State.
After this weekend’s visit, Prieskorn will have visited with Michigan fives times, Michigan State four times, Penn State three times, and Notre Dame twice. Michigan football is the only program with a crystal ball for Prieskorn right now — the Wolverines have two crystal balls, with the most recent prediction coming in November of last year. Both crystal balls were placed by experts from The Michigan Insider who are 6/6 when prediction 2024 prospects.
Prieskorn will be in Ann Arbor again for a massive recruiting weekend — his fifth visit date is scheduled for Saturday, March 18th, and if all goes well, the Wolverines could close on his recruitment over the weekend.
