Today, Ondre Evans, a major top 100 recruit in the 2024 recruiting class, locked in a brand-new official visit with Michigan football. The Wolverines are back in pursuit of the nation’s No. 1 class after clipping just behind the Georgia Bulldogs to the No. 2 spot in the team rankings.

Michigan football secures official visit with top 100 recruit Ondre Evans

It is unclear whether or not the Michigan Wolverines are going to land any more five-star recruits this cycle; however, one thing does remain certain: Michigan football is trending for a number of the nation’s top targets. Right now, a plethora of four-star recruits are looking to turn Maize and Blue over the summer, meaning official visit season may treat the Wolverines kindly.

On Wednesday morning, it was confirmed that Ondre Evans, a major four-star cornerback recruit in the 2024 class, has scheduled a significant official visit with the Wolverines for next month. According to reports, the young star defender will be in Ann Arbor from June 16th-18th, the same time as several other top-ranked targets that Michigan is looking to lock down throughout June.

According to the newest ON3 rankings, Evans is a major four-star recruit, boasting a 6-foot, 170-pound frame and the talent to match. He is ranked as the No. 84 recruit in the 2024 recruiting class, the No. 11 cornerback in his class, and the No. 1 recruit in Tennessee (ON3). According to the Recruiting Prediction Machine, Evans has Michigan football in his top two, yet NC State remains the frontrunner.
