Yesterday, Michigan football earned a new crystal ball prediction for 2024 three-star running back Micah Kaapana out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Kaapana recently scheduled his official visit to Ann Arbor, where the Wolverines will unquestionably be looking to close on his commitment and lock down the program’s 18 hard commits.
Who is Micah Kaapana?
While not the highest-rated recruit on the Michigan Wolverines’ radar, Kaapana shines as the No. 710 national recruit, the 57th running back in the 2024 class, and Nevada’s third-best talent. Michigan football’s reputation as a premier program for running backs undoubtedly captivates recruits nationwide, luring Kaapana into the spotlight.
Michigan football recruiting looking to lock down 18th commitment in the 2024 class
Currently, the Wolverines boast the No. 2 ranked 2024 recruiting class, surpassing major programs like Ohio State, Notre Dame, LSU, and more. Although Oklahoma State remains a contender in Kaapana’s recruitment, Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football recruiting seem to have everything under control.
Kaapana’s official visit with Michigan football is scheduled for the weekend of June 9th, a crucial period for securing commitments in the 2024 class. While Michigan recently slipped behind the Georgia Bulldogs in the recruiting rankings, the gap is merely around three points in the composite rankings. If the Wolverines can continue their dominant recruiting run throughout the summer, Michigan football may still be able to catch the Bulldogs.
