INDIANAPOLIS, IN. — Yesterday was a big day for college football fans, especially for fans of the Big Ten, as it marked yet another step closer to the upcoming season. For Michigan football star Blake Corum, Big Ten Media Day provided the perfect chance to comment on his offseason knee injury rehab. According to the Wolverines’ impressive running back, his doctor has cleared him to go full speed ahead for fall camp, which will begin on August 1st and 2nd for the Maize and Blue.
Michigan football star Blake Corum says his knee injury is healing well, is better than ever
According to Michigan football star Blake Corum, things have been going well with his knee injury rehab over the offseason. In fact, Corum even states that he “feels like a million bucks” and will be ready to go at full capacity for fall camp.
Reports from Big Ten Media Day yesterday confirmed Corum’s positive update regarding his knee injury. Gone are the days of taking it easy, as Michigan football will now have the same Blake Corum that fans and coaches are accustomed to seeing. “It’s no longer ‘Blake has a bad knee,’” Blake Corum said yesterday afternoon. “My knee is fine. My knee is perfect.”
With the 2023 season fast approaching, Michigan football needs the Blake Corum knee injury storyline to be in the rearview mirror as the Wolverines aim for a third-straight Big Ten title and a College Football Playoff berth this fall. From the sound of things, it seems to be the case for the Maize and Blue, putting Michigan in an even better position to make a national title run in 2023.
