So far this fall, Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis (Providence Day High School, NC) has seen an insane start to his senior year of high school ball. While his season stats are nothing short of jaw-dropping, and the future of the program looks as bright as ever, 247 Sports is not so high on Jim Harbaugh’s future QB — in their newly updated 2024 recruiting rankings, Davis is on the decline once again.

Michigan football quarterback commit continues to fall

Jadyn Davis is currently a composite four-star quarterback, and while his 2023 season has been elite so far, 247 Sports dropped him in their new 2024 recruiting rankings yet again.

On the year, Davis has completed over 79% of his passes for 1,972 passing yards, 26 passing touchdowns, and one single interception. His school, Providence Day (NC), is 7-0 so far, scoring no less than 42 points in each of their victories to this point.

Despite strong start, Jadyn Davis continues to fall

Still, in the new 2024 recruiting rankings via 247 Sports, Jadyn Davis has dropped 34 spots, moving from No. 76 nationally to No. 110 nationally this week. Davis is also pinned as the No. 9 quarterback in the cycle and the No. 3 recruit in the state of North Carolina — both down from his previous rankings, especially from when he first committed to Michigan as a five-star back in March.

While Davis continues to fall in national rankings across all major recruiting sites, he is proving his talent on the field and has Michigan football fans thrilled about what is to come for the Maize and Blue. While he may no longer be a five-star quarterback, Davis remains a promising prospect and should solidify a great future for Jim Harbaugh’s program.
