This week has witnessed significant developments in the rankings of several key commits in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. We have exciting news to share about two notable players, Ted Hammond and Blake Fraizer, who have made impressive strides by ascending more than 100 spots in the latest industry rankings. Joining them in this upward trajectory is Ben Roebuck, a talented four-star Ohio commit and offensive lineman, who has also experienced a remarkable jump of nearly 100 spots in the most recent rankings.

Four-star Ohio commit Ben Roebuck jumps 93 spots in new rankings

According to the latest ON3 Industry Rankings, Ben Roebuck, a four-star offensive tackle and an Ohio commit in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, has made a significant leap in the national rankings. Roebuck’s remarkable improvement saw him rise by an impressive 93 spots, moving from No. 597 to No. 504 in the national rankings. He now holds the No. 29 ranking among offensive tackles nationwide and is recognized as the No. 17 recruit in the state of Ohio.

While most outlets currently consider Roebuck a three-star prospect, Rivals remains steadfast in maintaining his four-star status as an Ohio commit for the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. Roebuck has been committed to Coach Jim Harbaugh’s team for a considerable period, and as the class undergoes further evaluations throughout his final high school football season this fall, he may continue to ascend in the rankings.

Another big jump for Michigan football recruiting

Once again, Jim Harbaugh has demonstrated his keen eye for talent, as Roebuck becomes the third consecutive commit to make a significant upward jump of over 90 spots in the latest rankings update. Experts predict that more impressive developments are yet to come.

Undoubtedly, Harbaugh’s No. 2 overall recruiting class stands as one of the most impressive in the nation, suggesting a future of national championship caliber expectations for the Maize and Blue.
