Later this month, the recruiting dead period will briefly end, allowing programs to start getting prospects back on campus and more. For Michigan football recruiting, this break in the dead period could be vital as the Wolverines battle it out for some of the country’s best players — one such recruit is four-star Florida target, Zaquan Patterson, who is reportedly eyeing a late-July trip to Ann Arbor.
Michigan football recruiting looking to get major four-star Florida target back to Ann Arbor
Last month, Michigan football recruiting hosted four-star Florida target, Zaquan Patterson, for a visit to Ann Arbor. Patterson, a top 100 prospect in the 2024 cycle, is one of Michigan’s top remaining targets in this cycle and could become a huge commit for the Maize and Blue if Jim Harbaugh and the staff can sway him.
Right now, it appears that Patterson is trending to land in Miami; that said, Michigan football is looking to get him back on campus this month, and will undoubtedly be making a large push as his decision draws nearer. According to reports, Patterson is believed to be interested in making it back to Ann Arbor this month, meaning this visit seems likely.
According to the composite recruiting rankings, Zaquan Patterson is ranked among the nation’s best — he is a four-star safety in the 2024 class and is pinned as the No. 76 player in the nation, the No. 3 safety in his class, and the No. 9 player in the state of Florida.
