Yesterday, the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class landed two significant commitments — both four-stars — which shot the Wolverines up in the rankings past Georgia and Ohio State. Following this news, the Wolverines landed a new crystal ball from the top 247 Sports insider, Steve Wiltfong, to steal a Michigan State linebacker target. 2024 four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley is now favored to turn Maize and Blue.

Michigan football recruiting favored to steal four-star Michigan State linebacker target

The top-ranked Michigan football recruiting class currently has 14 committed recruits — one of which is a linebacker. Following the commitment of four-star defensive lineman Jerod Smith — who Michigan football stole from Notre Dame — the Wolverines received a new crystal ball for one of Mel Tucker’s top-ranked linebacker targets.

Jeremiah Smith was previously a Michigan State lean, even receiving four crystal balls in favor of the Spartans. That lead appears to have vanished throughout the month of April, as the Wolverines have now earned back-to-back crystal balls of their own.

The newest crystal ball for Michigan football recruiting is for Beasley’s commitment, which is a massive momentum change for the Wolverines’ top-ranked class.

Where does Jeremiah Beasley rank nationally?

According to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Jeremiah Beasley is a four-star linebacker recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. He is ranked as the No. 267 recruit nationally, the No. 25 linebacker in the class, and the No. 6 recruit in the state of Michigan.

If Beasley does commit to Jim Harbaugh’s team, he would be the 11th four-star recruit in the class and the second linebacker to join the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class.
