Don’t worry, Michigan football fans, the Wolverines will be playing at Michigan Stadium again before we know it. That’s just a few weeks away as the annual spring game will be held on April 20th.

Michigan football’s spring game will be broadcast on Fox — one week after Ohio State will have its spring game televised for a national audience. It will be a great opportunity for the program and a great chance for fans to see what’s next.

Unlike some other programs, Michigan football doesn’t do open practices for the media. Jim Harbaugh didn’t at least and I don’t see Sherrone Moore making any changes though. So we have to take what we can get in terms of spring practice intel. There are rumblings from insiders and their sources.

However, Michigan also puts out videos and highlights on its social media accounts and we got a 40-second video on Saturday morning. There’s not a ton that we can learn from this video but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to try.

It’s just fun to see the guys putting on the pads. You catch a glimpse of freshman offensive lineman Blake Frazier, along with guys like Mason Graham, Zeke Berry, Will Johnson, and Benjamin Hall who looked to be breaking off an explosive run.

The best moment though — the one most Michigan football fans will want to see again — is quarterback Alex Orji dropping a dime to Colston Loveland, the Wolverines’ future first-round tight end.

Quarterback is the big question mark facing this team and if a solid starting option like Orji can develop before next season, Michigan should be a contender in the Big Ten and beyond.
