For some players, being “good” is not enough. Michigan football star running back Blake Corum doesn’t just want to be a good running back, he wants to be the best. In fact, Corum wants to cement himself in history as a Michigan football legend.

Michigan Athletics recently released an early snippet from episode seven of Those Who Stay. In this clip, Corum discusses his legacy with Michigan football and how he will be remembered.

Corum said, “You know when I came here, I wanted to beat Ohio State. We beat them twice. I wanted to win the Big Ten championship. We won that twice.” Last season, Corum ran for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns.

There’s no doubt that those numbers make Corum one of the best in the league, but Corum won’t stop until he’s cemented himself as a Michigan football legend. Corum said, “So it’s like, how do I want to be remembered? Am I fine with being remembered as Blake Corum a good Michigan running back? Or do I wanna be a legend?”

Before suffering a late-season leg injury, Corum was the frontrunner to win the 2022 Heisman Trophy. This offseason, Corum has been working hard to get healthy ahead of the season opener in September.

If Corum can put up numbers like last year, Michigan football will be a strong contender for another Big Ten title and possibly a national championship. The full episode of Those Who Stay featuring Corum will be released tomorrow at 2:45 PM.
