This weekend, four-star in-state linebacker Jeremiah Beasley, a top Michigan football recruiting target, will be in Ann Arbor. Once a Michigan State lean, Beasley now seems to be far more interested in the Maize and Blue. If Michigan can impress this major four-star linebacker over the weekend, there is a good chance that he will end up wearing the winged helmet, adding yet another blue-chip target to Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 recruiting class.
Michigan football recruiting looking to lock down a top in-state target during this weekend’s visit
Earlier this month, Jeremiah Beasley visited East Lansing for his official visit with the Michigan State Spartans. According to all reports so far, the Green and White had little success in persuading the four-star linebacker, who hails from Belleville High School, located about 20 minutes from the University of Michigan’s campus in Ann Arbor.
This weekend, Jim Harbaugh will have his opportunity to impress Beasley as the four-star in-state prospect will visit the Wolverines for an official visit. Currently, the odds heavily favor Michigan in securing this highly sought-after recruit. The Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Michigan a 95.8% chance of landing Jeremiah Beasley. Additionally, the five most recent 247 Sports crystal ball predictions all favor Michigan football, which bodes well for the Wolverines.
With Beasley on campus for the weekend, Michigan football recruiting may not have a better chance to secure his commitment than now. At the very least, the Maize and Blue need to make a lasting and positive impression on him. The following weekend, the four-star linebacker will visit SEC territory for an official visit with the Missouri Tigers, making it another significant visit to watch for Michigan fans.
According to the 247 Sports rankings, Jeremiah Beasley is a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. He is ranked as the No. 237 recruit nationally, the No. 25 linebacker in his class, and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Michigan.
