Michigan projected to steal four-star linebacker target from Michigan State
The Wolverines are now expected to steal a top-ranked player in the state of MI from the Spartans’ grasp.
Yesterday, Michigan fans got their first glimpse of Jim Harbaugh’s 2023 Wolverines, who are projected to make another run at the Big Ten title and more this fall. With spirits high in Ann Arbor right now, it’s only fitting that the program and its fans received even more good news this weekend, which is exactly what happened. According to a brand new crystal ball on 247 Sports, the Michigan football team is expected to steal a four-star linebacker target from Mel Tucker’s Michigan State Spartans.
Michigan football expected to steal four-star linebacker target from Michigan State Spartans
The Michigan football team is killing it on the 2024 recruiting trail right now, boasting a top-3 class nationally after recently landing a series of major commitments. Last week, the Wolverines landed their 2024 crown jewel: five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who will take over the offense after current starter JJ McCarthy leaves following the coming season or the 2024 season. All of Michigan’s momentum appears to be bleeding into Mel Tucker’s recruiting efforts, as the Wolverines are now expected to steal one of his top targets.
Jeremiah Beasley — a four-star linebacker target in the 2024 recruiting class out of Belleville High School — is currently projected to commit to the Michigan Wolverines according to his most recent crystal ball.
Who could Jim Harbaugh steal from Mel Tucker?
Jeremiah Beasley is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound four-star linebacker target out of Belleville High School just 25 minutes from Ann Arbor. Over the past few months, many insiders believed that Beasley would commit to Mel Tucker’s Michigan State Spartans; however, on April 1st, that appeared to change. So far, of Beasley’s five crystal balls, four are for Michigan State — that being said, his only recent crystal ball (since September of 2022) is for Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan football team.
Beasley is ranked as the No. 154 player in the nation, the No. 13 linebacker in his class, and the No. 4 player in the state of Michigan by 247 Sports. On top of his recent crystal ball to Michigan, the four-star linebacker target also is given an 88.1% chance to land in Ann Arbor all said and done by the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
