On Sunday, March 12th, NiTareon Tuggle will be in Ann Arbor on a visit with Michigan football. Tuggle is a three-star wide receiver that has drawn a lot of attention from some of the nation’s top programs, such as the Georgia Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Michigan State Spartans. While Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines do not appear to be a major player in this race just yet, don’t count out the power of a visit to Ann Arbor in turning the tide with this Michigan State target.

Michigan State target heads to Ann Arbor for visit

According to On3, NiTareon Tuggle is a three-star defensive back ranked as the No. 513 player in the nation, No. 81 wide receiver, and No. 4 player in Indiana for the 2024 class. Tuggle plays for Northwood High School in South Bend, IN.

Tuggles best attribute is his size — he stands at 6-3 and weighs in around 185 pounds. Additionally, Tuggle has a projected NIL value of around $30,000 according to On3.

Who are the top teams competing for Tuggle’s commitment?

Right now, the reigning National Champion Georgia Bulldogs appear to be in the lead for Tuggle’s commitment; however, he is also a major Michigan State target and has a few others on his trail.

According to the Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia comes in first with a 37.8% chance to land Tuggle, with Michigan State (11.7%) at second, Indiana (10.7%) at third, and Cincinnati/Texas A&M/Penn State coming in at fourth with an 8.4% chance.

If Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines want to get back in the race for Tuggle, this weekend will be huge. Tuggle is set to visit this Sunday along with three-star defensive lineman Martreece Dillard, who the Wolverines appear to have a better shot at landing.
