This year’s Michigan Wolverines football team is one of the most hyped in program history and will be gunning to bring a national title back to Ann Arbor for the first time in nearly 30 years. After winning back-to-back Big Ten titles and appearing in the College Football Playoff twice in a row, the Wolverines are facing massive expectations. According to star running back Blake Corum, it’s national championship or bust for the Maize and Blue in 2023.

It’s national title or bust for Michigan Wolverines football in 2023

It comes as no surprise to most Michigan Wolverines football fans that this college football season is one of the most anticipated years in quite some time. Jim Harbaugh has led his program to a 25-3 overall record with a pair of Big Ten titles and top 3 finishes over the past two seasons, bringing the Maize and Blue back to national prominence.

Still, the Wolverines have fallen short of winning a national title over the past two seasons, making the 2023 college football season even more important for Harbaugh and his squad. With a loaded roster, an elite coaching staff, and all the momentum in the world right now, this year’s Michigan football season must be the year that the Maize and Blue get over the hump and sit atop the standings by year’s end.

According to Michigan football star Blake Corum, the mission for Michigan football is clear: it’s national title or bust in Ann Arbor this year. “If we don’t win the national championship, it’s not a successful season in my eyes,” Corum said in a recent interview.

Huge things appear to be in store for the Michigan football program in 2023; now, the Maize and Blue must go out and deliver on their potential, bringing a national title back to the city of Ann Arbor for the 12th time in Michigan’s long and storied history.
