Yesterday, Jordan Marshall — the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 recruiting class — was in Ann Arbor for the Wolverines’ 31-6 victory over Bowling Green. The night before, Michigan’s elite four-star running back was dazzling the nation once again, this time, adding nearly 170 yards and a touchdown to his season stats in yet another incredible performance.

At this point, we are updating stat lines for four-star running back Jordan Marshall on a weekly basis, which is fantastic news for Michigan football fans, seeing as the four-star Ohio running back is the top-ranked recruit in Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 recruiting class.

Marshall, the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio, was a massive recruiting win for Harbaugh and the Wolverines earlier this year — he chose Michigan football outright over his home state Buckeyes, marking the first time that the Maize and Blue beat Ohio State for an elite in-state target in quite some time. This fall, during his senior high school football season, Marshall is proving to be a major addition to the 2024 recruiting class.

2024 recruiting class is in great hands with Marshall leading the way

Yesterday, the No. 1 Michigan football commit had yet another impressive game — he carried the ball 25 times for 146 yards and a touchdown in his school’s second victory of the year. Additionally, he hauled in one pass for 21 yards, once again proving that he will likely be able to be a versatile threat in Michigan’s offense next year.

Through five games this year, Jordan Marshall is now up to an impressive 635 rushing yards and 122 receiving yards with 11 total touchdowns. During every performance of the 2023 season, Marshall has posted no less than 100 yards on the ground alone, as well as at least one touchdown in every game so far this season. His incredible 167-yard performance on Friday is just another reminder for Michigan football fans that he — along with many other members of the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class — is next in line to be an elite weapon for the Maize and Blue.
