Next weekend is going to be a fun one for Wolverines fans as it will be the program’s annual ‘BBQ at the Big House’ event in Ann Arbor, MI. With many of the nation’s top recruits coming to campus, it should come as little surprise that the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 class will be returning as well. Both Jordan Marshall and Jadyn Davis, who are ranked No. 1 in Michigan’s class by On3 and 247, respectively, will be back in Ann Arbor for this huge recruiting event.

No. 1 Michigan football commit is set to return to Ann Arbor

Recently, On3 updated its 2024 recruiting rankings, pinning four-star Ohio running back Jordan Marshall as the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 cycle. According to 247 Sports, this prestigious title still belongs to former five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who has since been demoted to a four-star prospect. Still, both are seen as elite recruits.

According to recent national updates via On3, both Marshall and Jadyn Davis will be returning to Ann Arbor next weekend for the Wolverines’ huge recruiting event. Seeing as the July recruiting restrictions are about to drop for a bit, Jim Harbaugh and his coaching staff are prepared to make the most of it. On top of the No. 1 commits in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, the Wolverines are hosting many elite 2025 targets as well.

Michigan’s weekend guests for ‘BBQ at the Big House’ range from top in-state targets to the No. 1 recruit in the nation, who also happens to be a teammate of Jadyn Davis. For the Wolverines, the coming weekend is bound to be a big one and gets fans one step closer to the season — on July 27th, the Wolverines’ media day, Michigan will unofficially kick start its season, followed by the start of fall camp on August 1-2.

The season is close, Michigan football is playing great football, and the Wolverines are recruiting well. Needless to say, there is a lot to be excited about in Ann Arbor right now.
