ANN ARBOR, MI — On Tuesday evening, it was announced that a major Ohio prospect will be on a visit to Ann Arbor over the coming week. Michigan football recruiting has been getting hot as of late — especially in the 2024 class — and could get even better if Jim Harbaugh and his staff can make a notable impression on this four-star Ohio EDGE prospect.

Brian Robinson, a four-star EDGE from Austintown Fitch High School in Austintown, OH, will be in Ann Arbor very soon on a spring visit, his father tells Sam Webb of 247 Sports. According to the Robinson family, they will be in the state of Michigan soon, and will be arriving early so that Brian can spend a coming Saturday and Sunday with Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines.

“We’re going to be visiting family in Michigan next week, but we’re going to come up early on the weekend so Brian can spend all day Saturday and some of Sunday in Ann Arbor,” George Robonson told 247.

Robinson is expected to turn Maize and Blue

According to On3, Brian Robinson has a 90.5% chance of committing to the Michigan Wolverines. This would be massive for Michigan football recruiting, as Robinson is ranked as the No. 138 player in the nation, No. 12 EDGE prospect, and the No. 4 player in Ohio. The three teams behind Michigan are Pitt (2.2% chance), Penn State (1.8% chance), and Kentucky (<1% chance). Once again, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has set his team up for success when it comes to a major Ohio prospect — since Michigan’s back-to-back wins over the Buckeyes, the Wolverines have been hitting the Ohio recruiting pipeline with everything they’ve got.
