Yesterday, ahead of an impressive Michigan football victory over Nebraska at Memorial Stadium, ex-Buckeye coach Urban Meyer put the Wolverines on upset alert. Meyer has been taking a lot of shots at Michigan’s schedule and more as of late, and while he confidently thought that the Cornhuskers could upset the Wolverines, Michigan’s 45-7 victory seemed to humble Meyer’s pregame thoughts. After the game, social media did its thing, grilling Meyer for his awful take.

Urban Meyer has awful Michigan football take before Nebraska game

Here is what Urban Meyer said about Michigan football just before the Wolverines destroyed the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 45-7, on their own field.

“We saw, they (Nebraska) should have beat Minnesota,” Urban Meyer said. “If you don’t turn the ball over (against Colorado) a couple of weeks ago, they’re right in that game. Don’t turn the ball over; let that 3-3-5 defense play, they’ve got good players on defense. I think it’s going to be a close game in Lincoln.”
