At the end of last week, news of a second NCAA investigation into the Wolverines broke via Yahoo Sports. 9th-year Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh and his team are being looked into for alleged illegal sign-stealing methods, which once again have the Maize and Blue in the national spotlight. On Saturday, just before Michigan crushed Michigan State 49-0 in East Lansing, WWE legend Ric Flair showed his public support for Harbaugh in the midst of controversy.

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh apparently has few friends within the NCAA; however, outside of the league office, Harbaugh is a beloved figure by his players are more. Included in those who support the Wolverines’ head coach is ex-WWE star Ric Flair, who just publicly endorsed Harbaugh amid an NCAA investigation.

“Coach (Jim) Harbaugh, Please Don’t Let These Ridiculous Loser Journalists Attempt To Discredit You In Any Shape Or Form,” WWE legend Ric Flair said via Twitter. “Nobody Wants Someone To Be Better Than Themselves, But You Are! Go Blue! See You At The National Championship! WOOOOO!”

For the time being, Michigan football appears to be in the clear. Additionally, the Wolverines are 8-0 on the season (5-0 Big Ten) heading into the bye week this weekend — Michigan is slated to face Purdue in Week 10 before facing a crucial three-game stretch to close out the year: Penn State, Maryland, and Ohio State.
