With all of Jim Harbaugh’s recent success, it comes as little surprise that his Wolverines currently boasts one of the best recruiting classes in the country. In fact, it sounds like the class will only continue to get better with time, as many 2024 Michigan football commits are doing a lot of the heavy lifting on the recruiting trail themselves. According to one of the Wolverines’ top committed players, Michigan football is building a national championship-caliber recruiting class.

2024 Michigan football commits all-in on building national title class

With 11 hard commits thus far — seven four-stars, three three-stars, and one five-star — the Michigan football team has done well for itself on the 2024 recruiting trail. In fact, according to one of Michigan’s higher-ranked commits, Jacob Oden, the Wolverines are building a class that will compete for national titles during their time in Ann Arbor.

“We love to see it,” Oden told On3 following the commitment of five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis on March 31st. “We are about to build a national championship class.”

Other Wolverine recruits are in agreement that the 2024 class is going to be special

Four-star Jacob Oden was not the only 2024 Michigan football commit to state the class’s lofty goals, either; he was joined by several other highly-rated recruits, who also emphasized how special the 2024 class is going to be for the program.

“It’s amazing that we both committed recently because now we can build OUR class and make it the No. 1 class in the nation,” four-star Ohio running back Jordan Marshall said. “Jadyn is a different type of dude and a dude I can’t wait to play with. Go Blue.”

Even some of the offensive linemen are getting in on the Michigan football recruiting hype train following Jadyn Davis’s decision to go Maize and Blue.

“I’ve been waiting for him to commit,” said four-star offensive lineman Luke Hamilton. “Now that he’s on board, I know that a lot more recruits are about to join the family!!”

With the crown jewel of the class locked down (Jadyn Davis), Michigan football can focus more on other nationally touted recruits and continue building toward landing one of the best recruiting classes that the Wolverine fanbase has ever seen.
