Jim Harbaugh is currently keeping spirits high in Ann Arbor with his 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. The Maize and Blue boast one of the top classes in the nation, and although it has been slowly slipping down the rankings over the past few weeks, it still appears to be one of the better classes during Harbaugh’s tenure in Ann Arbor.
In a recent development, Michigan football secured the commitment of Elias Rudolph, a four-star edge rusher and a top-priority target in the 2024 class. With Rudolph on board, the Wolverines’ class now boasts 25 commits in the cycle, a significantly higher number than Harbaugh has ever attained this early in his tenure with Michigan.
According to 247 Sports, Elias Rudolph is a highly regarded 6-foot-4, 205-pound four-star edge rusher in the 2024 recruiting cycle. He is ranked as the No. 19 edge rusher in the class and the No. 39 recruit in the state of Florida. The Wolverines successfully outperformed programs such as Miami, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, and others in securing Rudolph’s commitment. Lately, the Maize and Blue have been receiving many crystal balls indicating a strong likelihood of locking down Rudolph’s commitment.
This addition is a significant boost for the Wolverines and serves as a major momentum builder for the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class as they enter the bulk of summer recruiting and the 2023 college football season.
