Elite Michigan football commit sees major jump in new rankings

Elite Michigan football commit Jordan Marshall, a four-star running back out of Ohio whom the Wolverines beat the Buckeyes for earlier this year, is on the rise once again. This month, 247 Sports updated its rankings for the 2024 recruiting class, and while he is not ranked as high as On3 has him, he still saw a massive 56-spot jump, bringing him up to the 144th-ranked player in the country.

If you ask On3, Jordan Marshall is the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 recruiting class — he is ranked as the No. 31 player in the country, the No. 2 running back in his class, and the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio. On the other hand, 247 Sports is not nearly as bullish on the future Wolverine; however, they are starting to come around on him.

Per the updated 247 Sports rankings, Jordan Marshall is a four-star running back, ranking as the No. 144 player in the nation right now — 56 spots up from his previous ranking (No. 200), which was updated in September.

Marshall, who has been nothing short of impressive so far during his final year of high school football, appears poised to be the next elite running back to play for Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football. Keep an eye on this fast-rising four-star Ohio recruit throughout the remainder of the current season and when he gets on campus next year.
