Last year, Blake Corum was sidelined for the Wolverines’ three biggest games of the 2022 season — Ohio State, the Big Ten title game, and the College Football Playoff semi-final game against TCU. Now, this elite Michigan football running back is making a return to Ann Arbor with a national title and more on his mind for the coming season. Recently, Corum gave a positive injury update regarding his knee, claiming that he is nearly 100 percent healthy.

Positive injury update for Michigan football running back Blake Corum

Blake Corum recently gave an injury update on his knee, stating that he is about 98 percent healthy ahead of Michigan’s home opener against ECU on September 2nd.

“Am I close to 100 percent? Heck yeah, I feel like I’m at about 98 (percent),” elite Michigan football running back Blake Corum said. “I need that last two percent. It’s gonna come in camp, but I’m feeling great. I said I had two percent left. Now what does that two percent consist of? It’s really just getting out there and putting pads on, putting the helmet on, feeling some contact. I’d say that’s the last two percent, but other than I’m feeling stronger than ever.”

Last year, despite suffering an injury in Week 12, Blake Corum rushed for over 1,460 yards and scored 18 touchdowns, leading the Wolverines to a perfect record heading into the Ohio State game. Now, with a healthy knee, a revamped offensive line, and more, Corum could be in store for an even bigger year this fall.
