ANN ARBOR, MI — Less than 24 hours after Michigan football held a massive recruiting visit day (Saturday), the Wolverines are receiving some great news on the recruiting trail. On Sunday morning, 247 Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong put in a huge crystal ball for Jim Harbaugh’s squad for Aaron Chiles, the No. 1 player in Maryland in the 2024 recruiting class.

Aaron Chiles is a highly touted prospect and is being pursued by many huge programs, such as Michigan, Penn State, Florida, Clemson, Maryland, and others. The Wolverines were already in the lead for Chiles heading into this weekend’s visit; however, on Sunday, Michigan’s lead appeared to grow even more.

Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports — who is 100% accurate (67/67) thus far in the 2024 class — predicts that Chiles will land in Ann Arbor when the time comes to commit. Steve Lorenz of The Michigan Insider also put in a crystal ball for Chiles to commit to Michigan on Saturday.

According to 247 Sports, Aaron Chiles is a 6-3, 220-pound linebacker from Our Lady Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD. Chiles is rated as a four-star linebacker prospect, and is ranked as the No. 88 player in the 2024 class, the No. 7 linebacker in his class, and the No. 1 player in the state of Maryland. During Chiles’s 2022 season, he recorded 74 tackles with 10 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, forces two fumbles, and recovered two fumbles.
