Yesterday, the Michigan Wolverines landed four-star North Carolina wide receiver Channing Goodwin, the team’s top-ranked wideout target in the class and a renowned teammate of five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis. This morning, even more good news rolled in for Michigan football recruiting — the Wolverines earned a new On3 Prediction to land a major four-star in-state linebacker target Jeremiah Beasley, who was previously considered a strong favorite to pick the Michigan State Spartans.
Michigan football recruiting earns new prediction for major in-state linebacker target
The Wolverines have the top-ranked class in the country right now, and according to new predictions, it appears as if Jim Harbaugh and his recruiting team are nowhere close to slowing down on the recruiting trail right now. On Monday morning, a new prediction was placed by On3 insiders for the Michigan football recruiting class to gain a new commitment from four-star in-state linebacker target Jeremiah Beasley, who is a huge target for a number of regional and national programs.
This time last year, insiders expected Beasley to commit to Michigan State; however, things appear to be leaning strongly in favor of the Michigan Wolverines right now. According to On3, Michigan football is the program to beat right now; in fact, the Recruiting Prediction Machine even gives the Wolverines a 95.6% chance to lock down Beasley’s commitment all said and done, which is a great early sign as we head into official visit season for the 2024 class.
According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Jeremiah Beasley is a four-star linebacker in the 2024 recruiting class — he is ranked as the No. 265 recruit in the nation, the No. 25 linebacker, and the No. 6 recruit in the state of Michigan. He has an extensive offer list thus far, though all signs appear to point towards Ann Arbor, MI for the young in-state linebacker target.
