Finally, after months — for some, even years — of waiting, we will find out where one of the top quarterback targets in the 2024 class will be playing college football. For quite some time now, the Michigan football team has been the clear frontrunner to land a commitment from the five-star North Carolina QB recruit; though so far, he has maintained radio silence. On Sunday, just days before he is set to commit, Michigan received yet another crystal ball for Jadyn Davis.
Will Jadyn Davis commit to Michigan football this Friday?
Five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis has been expected to turn Maize and Blue for quite some time now; however, regardless of how many times he has visited Ann Arbor, he is yet to actually announce his commitment. That has not stopped major recruiting sites from prematurely declaring Michigan football as the winners in his recruitment — the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Davis a 90.3% chance of coming out on top with the five-star QB. Additionally, Michigan is the only team with a crystal ball for Jadyn Davis on 247 Sports — the Wolverines have seven crystal balls in total.
According to the 247 Sports rankings, Jadyn Davis is a five-star quarterback recruit from Providence Day High School in North Carolina — he is ranked as the No. 28 player in the nation, the No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina. If he ends up in Ann Arbor all said and done, he will be the crown jewel of the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, and will likely turn into JJ McCarthy’s successor.
The newest crystal ball for Jadyn Davis is a unique one; it was placed by Clemson insider Cory Fravel — seeing as Clemson is one of the final five remaining programs on Jadyn Davis’s list, this is a great sign for the Michigan football program’s odds to land Davis at the end of this week.
