Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan football program has already begun to make waves in the 2025 recruiting class, with a few early four-star commitments and a current national ranking of No. 4. The Wolverines are continuing to build on their recruiting momentum, and this week the Michigan football recruiting team added another elite target to their list: Michael Fasusi, a four-star offensive tackle from Texas. While it is still very early in the recruiting process for the class of 2025, Michigan’s strong start puts them in a promising position to continue bringing in top talent in the years to come.
New Michigan football recruiting target: four-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi
Michael Fasusi, a junior at Lewisville High School in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is regarded as a highly touted offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class by all three major recruiting services. Standing at an impressive 6-foot-4 and weighing 287 pounds, Fasusi recently received a major recruiting offer from the Michigan Wolverines, adding to an already impressive offer list that includes Penn State, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, and many more.
Although Fasusi is currently rated as a four-star composite lineman, and many expect him to earn a five-star rating from most or all major recruiting services by the time the class is re-evaluated. He is currently ranked as the No. 63 recruit nationally, the No. 8 offensive tackle in the class, and the No. 9 prospect in Texas. On3’s Industry Rankings also hold Fasusi in high regard, ranking him as the 9th-best tackle nationally and the 11th-best recruit in Texas. Rivals rates Fasusi as the 11th-best tackle nationally and the 16th-best recruit in Texas.
With his impressive physique and skills on the field, Fasusi is a top prospect to keep an eye on in the coming year.
2025 recruiting class is far out, but already taking shape
Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team, has secured commitments from two highly rated prospects for the 2025 recruiting class. The first commitment came from four-star defensive back Chris Ewald, who hails from Florida, followed by four-star linebacker Mantrez Walker from Georgia.
If Michigan can secure another significant commitment in the near future, they have a chance to be ranked No. 1 in both the 2024 and 2025 recruiting cycles. Michigan fans will undoubtedly be excited about the team’s recruiting efforts and will look forward to seeing how these highly touted prospects will perform on the field in the coming years.
