Over the weekend, the biggest storyline for Wolverines fans was the team’s home opener against East Carolina on Saturday — a contest that the Maize and Blue ultimately won, 30-3. That said, the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 recruiting class, four-star running back Jordan Marshall, had himself yet another impressive game on Friday, once again showing that the future in Ann Arbor is bright.

No. 1 Michigan football commit shows out once again

Per the On3 rankings, Jordan Marshall is the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2024 recruiting class — he jumped Jadyn Davis over the spring but may swap again by the time National Signing Day hits. Regardless, Marshall has strung together a few impressive games thus far and did so at the end of last week as well; he totaled another 141 yards and a touchdown all said and done.

While his team lost 38-28 on Friday, Jordan Marshall still had himself an impressive game. The future Wolverine star carried the football 15 times for 108 yards, adding another 33 yards through the air with another touchdown to match. On the season, Marshall is now up to 509 total yards (441 rushing) and six touchdowns (four rushing).

Jordan Marshall remains the top player for the Wolverines in the 2024 recruiting class

Per the On3 recruiting rankings, this impressive Michigan football commit is one of the top players in the 2024 recruiting class. While he remains a four-star for the time being, Marshall ranks as the No. 31 player in the nation, the No. 2 running back in his class, and he is the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio.
