At the end of July, one of the top Michigan football recruiting targets in the 2024 cycle will be announcing his commitment. Right now, it appears that the race for Aaron Scott has come down to the Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes; given that he is the No. 1 recruit in Ohio, this makes a great deal of sense. Today, new reports from Chad Simmons — the director of recruiting for ON3 — show that Scott is looking to get back to Ann Arbor one more time before he announces his decision.

In addition to another visit with Michigan football, Aaron Scott appears to be eyeing a final trip to Columbus as well. The Wolverines have been making a huge late push, and while Scott is still favored to commit to the Buckeyes when all is said and done, it is currently expected that this decision will come down to the final day of his recruitment — July 30th.

According to reports, Aaron Scott is in daily communication with the staff of both schools and many current commits. Both Michigan football and Ohio State would love to secure the commitment of the No. 1 recruit in Ohio, as he is the top remaining target in the 2024 recruiting class for either school.

According to the ON3 rankings, Aaron Scott is the No. 29 player in the nation, the No. 4 cornerback in his class, and the No. 1 player in the state of Ohio.
